Neo QLED is a term used by Samsung to define its evolution of QLED displays.
They are based on the same principles as QLED technology, that is, they use nanocrystals that due to their quantum properties, when stimulated, provide monochromatic green, blue and red colors.
The improvement with respect to QLED is given by the use of "Mini LED" technology, thanks to this technology it is possible to illuminate the panel with millions of LED lights the size of a grain of sand, this is about forty times smaller than the Traditional LEDs.
Each of these Mini LEDs are individually controlled in such a way that it is possible to illuminate only the necessary points providing a pure black.
By using a Mini LED panel it is also possible to reduce the thickness of the TV and its weight.
